Presentation Overview:

This session gives HR staff and managers a communication approach and design to improve communication and relationships, manage conflict, and enhance performance.

The three main learning objectives:

  •   How to improve communication flow.
  •  How to effectively manage and minimize unnecessary conflict.
  •  How to deliberately promote collaboration and build positive relationships among employees and managers.

Learn about emotionally intelligent ways to clear up difficult situations and relationships and bring more peace to your life.

About the Speaker:

Max Collette, Instructor at Skagit Valley College has spent over two decades as a chef; returned to school and received a MS in Organizational Development, was certified as a Professional Trainer, Mediator, Group Facilitator with substantial experience in each area. Max spent four years as an AmeriCorps supervisor, training and facilitating 4-6 teams each year.  Presently teaches Mediation in Human Services and taught Organizational Behavior, Management, Leadership, Customer Service and Personal Selling in the Business Management program for ten years at Skagit Valley College.
