Membership

SHRM Skagit-Island is managed here at SIHRMA.org.

By creating an account here with SHRM Skagit-Island, you will be notified of upcoming certified courses, lectures, and networking events for our chapter. 

SHRM Membership is managed at SHRM.org. Please designate SHRM Skagit-Island as your Primary Chapter if you wish to be considered a SHRM Skagit-Island Member (Dual Member). Membership to both SHRM and a primary local chapter is referred to as Dual Membership. By selecting SHRM Skagit-Island as your primary chapter, SHRM national directs membership funds to our chapter for use SHRM Skagit-Island initiatives. As a Dual Member of SHRM Skagit-Island and SHRM, you will be able to access our content and events at discounted rates.

You may of course be a member of multiple SHRM local chapters! However, only one chapter can be designated as primary and receive revenue share from SHRM national. For chapter events you choose to attend that are not with your primary chapter, you would need to purchase the non-member rate. 

Please note that SHRM Skagit-Island was formerly known as SIHRMA (Skagit-Island Human Resource Management Association). Our rebranding is ongoing and you may see us referred to as SIHRMA occasionally, as in the form below.
