The Skagit-Island Human Resource Management Association (SIHRMA)
Skagit-Island Human Resource Management Association (SIHRMA) is one of more than 500 affiliated Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapters that offer local activities throughout the United States. The purpose of these chapters is to provide a local forum for your personal and professional development; provide an opportunity to develop your leadership, managerial, public speaking and group decision-making skills; provide a local networking arena; and to provide a focus for legislative attention to local, state, and national human resource management issues.
We provide local, affordable training and networking opportunities to further the professional development of human resource and business professionals in Skagit, San Juan and Island Counties through our programs and our affiliation with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Participation in SIHRMA meetings and activities is separate and apart from membership in the national SHRM organization. While we encourage you to join SHRM at the national level, there are no membership fees to become affiliated with our local SIHRMA chapter.
To Affiliate with the our local chapter (free!) please complete and return the Chapter Membership Application SIHRMA.docx to join the Skagit-Island Human Resource Management Association (SIHRMA) Chapter 0492 as your primary chapter for SHRM membership coding purposes. This in no way precludes participation in other chapters and notifies SHRM of your affiliation with our chapter for statistical reporting and financial support program purposes only.
