About the Speaker:
Cathy Miclat, CSM®, CSPO®, is Director of Talent Services with Vets2PM, an organization committed to helping Transitioning Military and Veterans achieve meaningful, lucrative post service careers. Vets2PM accomplishes this by helping Veterans with certification training and preparing them for their job search in the civilian workforce with a Professional Resume, LinkedIn Optimization Strategies, and Interview Skills.
Vets2PM Talent Services collaborates with Corporate America, providing services that include subscriptions to PurpleX candidate database, Job Posting services, Placement services, and facilitating Internships as a DoD Approved SkillBridge Provider. All are geared to meeting Vets2PM’s mission.
Cathy began her career in Human Resources, helping a small government contractor double in size, and then switched to the Executive Search & Recruitment industry where she has spent the majority of her career. After helping a Veteran with a resume in the spring of 2015, she was introduced to Vets2PM, and began providing professional resume writing services, which turned into a full-time position where she created the Talent Services division.
Cathy is an Amazon best-selling author, as Editor with Dr. Eric Wright, Vets2PM’s CEO, on the book ‘101 Lessons Learned From Helping Military Members and Veterans Achieve Meaningful, Lucrative Post-Service Careers,’ published in 2020. She is collaborating on the next edition which will be published in 2021. Cathy graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Mass Communications and spent three years in the advertising industry prior to her HR and Recruiting career. She is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM®), and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO®).
