We provide service to the North Sound Region which includes Island, San Juan, Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom counties; including lands of eight tribal nations (Lummi Nation, Nooksack Tribe, Samish Indian Nation, Upper Skagit Tribe, Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe, Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, and Tulalip Tribes). JOB SUMMARY

The HR Manager will lead strategic human resources initiatives, fostering a healthy, engaged workplace culture. This role oversees compliance, talent acquisition, employee relations, and professional development while managing comprehensive benefits and compensation programs. 

 

This position will be performed primarily within a remote home office within the North Sound region of Washington. Transportation and the ability to attend occasional in-person and regional meetings (within the five-county service area) is required (approximately four per month) is required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years or more of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, managing various programs such as compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, performance management, professional development, etc. 

  • Human Resources certification (SHRM or HRCI) is highly preferred. 

  • Degree from an accredited college or university in a subject area related to human resources, business or another field related highly preferred.

 

The ideal candidate will partner with leadership to align HR goals with organizational objectives and champion innovative HR solutions. 

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual Salary Range: $78,124 - $105,697 (DOE)
