Presentation Overview:

In many ways, leave laws in Washington are on the front lines nationally, for better or worse.  After years of fragmented leave policies across many cities, Washington has recently passed new statewide leave-related laws.  This is in addition to already-existing state and federal leave laws.  We will analyze some of the challenges presented by this web of legal requirements and discuss how to deal with them as a HR practitioner.

About the Speaker:

Greg is a business lawyer who prides himself on being a front-line contact for small and medium sized companies in a broad range of industries.  He assists with advice and litigation regarding contract issues, employment concerns, intellectual property, and many other areas of practice.

Stephanie has litigated across a broad range of issues, but focuses her practice on various employment-related areas, including wrongful termination and non-compete violations, and the prosecution an defense of appeals.
