John Sternlicht, Economic Development Alliance of Skagit County (EDASC), will present for our October Member Meeting. John will reacquaint us with EDASC, Skagit County’s leading organization dedicated exclusively to advancing economic development. EDASC offers a diverse range of services supporting businesses and communities within the county, as well as people, businesses, and organizations from around the world interested in investing and building partnerships here.
John will be discussing the effects of Covid on Skagit Valley businesses and give us a ‘sneak peek’ into EDASC’s perspective on what’s next post-Covid. John's presentation will include:
· Economic and other impacts of Covid-19 in Skagit County
· Recovery outlook
· Efforts taken to support local economy including grants and businesses supported
· Ongoing BRE assistance and SBDC support
· Mask-up Skagit program
· Leadership Skagit (kick off for LS21 last month – start planning for LS22 applications in May)
