About our Speaker
Kirsten Smith is an ICF Executive Coach, Consultant and Workshop Facilitator who partners with leaders to expand their sphere of influence through a strong presence and powerful communication. She helps leaders develop their style and the courage to lead and live as the best version of themselves. For more than 25 years, Kirsten provided leadership and coaching in her HR leadership roles at fast paced, accelerated growth companies including Western Wireless(now T-Mobile), Seagen (now a part of Pfizer) and the Gates Foundation. By working in these diverse settings and cultures, she found her personal style and voice and developed an approach to be able to connect with individuals and leaders at every level. In each organization she designed and implemented effective people strategies, shaped culture and coached leaders and their teams to achieve higher performance. Her desire to work with leaders at a deeper level across organizations led her to hang up her HR hat and strike out on her own creating True Warrior Way where she uses her passion to help people lead authentically, leap courageously and live fully. Her balance of gentle nudging and straight talk helps leaders make the change needed to be more effective and have a positive impact. Kirsten trained in Tae Kwon Do and Arnis for more than 21 years and is a 4th Degree Black Belt.
